I just put this scarf in my shop come in and take a look. It is made from 100% acrylic yarn with the colors linen and off- white trim. This would make a cute gift for those who live in cooler climate. It does not add alot of bulk when you tuck it inside your coat. You can look fashionable as well as keeping warm!!!

Will Reopen In SEPTEMBER

My shop will be closed in the middle of July but I will continue with my blog giving you a sneak peek of what I will be making for my shop and reopen it in September. I know, I know it's too early to be thinking about cooler weather. I wanted to fill up my shop with items that I will have for now on. I also wanted a consistant look so customer can remember what I sell.

I made this whimsical fingerless glove just to add some fun during the cooler months ahead. The colors are light gray, yellow, and navy blue with cute flowers. It is made of 100% acrylic yarn. I put stripes that are wide and narrow as well as mixing them up. The one above is black, white and dark pink. I need to finish the ends and sew on the flowers.

Obsession with Red and Aqua Retro Colors

I have been obsessed with these color combos. They are sooooooo coooooollll!!!! I just went out to buy them at a discounted store. The plates were in a set of 4 as well as the cups for $1.00 each. The serving plates were $1.00 each. All are made from hard plastic. What a great day for a shopping day!!!

I have two cats one is Apricot (shown) and the other named Popsicle. This morning both of them were chasing each other around the house. Finally Popsicle gave up and took off and curled himself in the hallway. Apricot got wise and hid under a baby toy mat. She knows were to hide from her brother. Cats do the funniest things!!!!!

We had a baby boy in July and his name is Jonah Montana. With all of the baby business I am sleepy and yet enjoying this bundle. He is about 2 months and well on his way to start a geat life. Between feedings and diapers somehow I will try to write in my blog more often. But nothing is comparable to something as precious as giving birth to LIFE!!!!

The scarves are made from acylic yarn. It is about 5 inches wide and 36 inches long. Machine washable. It took me about 2 hours to make.

A BIG storm hit here for 2 days. The winds were about 50 miles per hour or so. It knocked down some parts of our fence. The rain was sooooooooo heavy that I could hear the raindrops pitter patter on the roof . I am glad it's over but we needed the because of the 3 year drought we had.
